My name is Fin Goulding and I lead Enterprise Flow®, a small company with tons of experience in Digital Transformation, Business Agility and IT Agility.

Today, more than ever, companies need to be more agile and adaptive. And that’s not just within IT.

So, I developed and use a set of tools that focus on helping businesses to be to fix any issues which may be holding them back, to become far more value-focused, more collaborative, more customer-centric, and more strategic. 

These ways of working are known as Flow but that’s not important as there is no formal framework or methodology to adopt. In fact, it’s mostly just common sense! 

Plus it’s not important to me what methods that you are currently using. They could be scaled frameworks or simple methodologies. What I do is help you make them work.

And the difference in working with me is that I have practical experience as a former CTO/CIO executive at some of the biggest and most well-known companies in the world (NatWest, RBS, HSBC, Visa, First Data, lastminute.com, travelocity.com, paddypower.com and Aviva) and world-wide experience having been based in Ireland, UK, USA and Argentina.

My objective at Enterprise Flow is to help your business to Flow and that can be described as an end-to-end philosophy for how to discover, manage and deliver value.

Advice and Guidance

I'm not really a consultant (especially not a land and expand one) as I prefer to use my own practical hands-on experience to provide advice and guidance. Be that for free over a craft beer or a paid assignment, you can choose whatever suits your budget. And I won't waste your time if I can't help you

Nearly every assignment I get involved with these days seems to be to help fix a broken business, digital or agile transformation. They all tend to hit the rocks because of some cultural issue or by focusing on the wrong things to transform. My experience can make all the difference to your success

My main experience comes from using agile practices within IT. However, I have extended many of these ways of working into non-technical business teams. I've even created techniques for C-Suite executives to realise that agile is not scary, it's not difficult and it can make a difference when done well

I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and my latest thinking with as wide an audience as possible. Be that at a large conference, an in-house townhall/staff meeting or live on the air, I always have an opinion to share whether it's popular or not!

Business Agility Workshops

Training is hard work and sometimes it's not completely relevant to all students. That's why I prefer to tailor a workshop to particular client needs and audience abilities. I don't do many of these because as I say, they are hard work!

MY BOOKS

From 2016 onwards I have been producing content and publications about new ways to work. My books and articles explain how focusing on the flow of value in an organisation can help set the tone for a new work culture and ultimately be used to successfully manage change.

There’s more to it than that, of course. Having new tools for people to collaborate effectively, having analytical insights to identify issues and project design tools to create new solutions, are all a part of it. But at the heart of everything I do is a simple motto: good decisions stem from good social interaction at work.
